What’s Included in the Preventative Maintenance Inspections?

When you sign up for a Preventative Maintenance Plan for your home or business in the Charlotte area, we agree that we will provide two preventative maintenance inspections for a period of one year to the address on the plan, one in the spring/summer and one in the fall/winter.

The preventative maintenance inspections include:

Air Conditioning

• Check air filters and replace customer-supplied filters if on-site
• Check all safety controls
• Check for adequate refrigerant charge
• Inspect contactor
• Check and clean condenser coil
• Check thermostat and check for proper operation
• Inspect evaporator coil cleanliness
• Check condenser fan and blades
• Inspect capacitors
• Tighten electrical connections
• Inspect relays
• Check voltage
• Check running and starting amperages
• Check and clean condensate drain
• Check blower for cleanliness
• Make recommendations of any needed repairs to the system.

Heating
